I have been working at the Swiss International School, Basel for the past 6 years as a Math Support Teacher, Math Olympiad Exam Coordinator, Cover Teacher, Extra Curriculum Teacher and as a Co-Teacher. Training students for Advance Math and training slow learners is where my expertise lies.
Additionally, I also extend home tutorial services on a one-on-one as well as group basis to Primary Advance & Middle School students. I customise my offering based on the learning capabilities of the students as mentioned below.
Regular Learners
Regular Math Learners shall receive assistance for homework and classwork problems. Real life mathematical scenarios and logic based questions will be solved and discussed in detail to enhance number-crunching abilities and sharpen mental calculations.
Future Mathematician
For Students, who wants to learn more about Maths, like to have competitive and fun way of learning and problem solving Maths. With us, these Students will develop intuitive and cognitive thinking skills. They will not only learn new concepts, but will be able to apply their previous knowledge from school to solve challenging problems. They will learn to view math not as a set of rules or guidelines, but as an art. Additionally we will practice for International Math competitions.
Learners With Dyscalculia
Math is all about practice, practice and practice. Students with Dyscalculia will work on curriculum based customized math worksheets which are designed keeping in mind their level of expertise. My target is to develop strong fundamentals and confidence in math.
